Delta G.E.M.S. & Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy

The Springfield Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to offer Delta Academy and Delta G.E.M.S., youth enrichment programs designed to educate, empower, and inspire young women as they grow into confident leaders.

Dr. Betty Shabazz Delta Academy is designed for young girls who benefit from additional academic enrichment, exposure, and encouragement. The program introduces participants to opportunities in areas such as science, technology, mathematics, leadership, personal development, and cultural awareness while helping them build confidence and prepare for future success.

Delta G.E.M.S. — Growing and Empowering Myself Successfully supports young women as they prepare for the transition from adolescence into adulthood. Through mentoring, workshops, educational activities, and community engagement, participants strengthen their leadership skills, explore college and career pathways, develop financial and personal responsibility, and build the confidence needed to make positive choices for their futures.

Together, Delta Academy and Delta G.E.M.S. provide a supportive environment where young women can learn, connect, grow, and discover the power of their own potential. Through meaningful programming and mentorship, the Springfield Alumnae Chapter remains committed to preparing the next generation of strong, informed, and empowered leaders.
